Default XM install (pics)

just got done installing my xm radio. took me about a month cause it's been so cold up here i didn't really feel like wiring the antenna and stuff, so i had it ghetto rigged out the door for a while. and was waiting until i got the modulator and vw->universal wires for the antenna.

but now it's all in, and hardwired up to the 75x post so it powers on with the car. and it's wired right into the car's antenna so the sound is crystal clear.

i love it, and would recommend it to anyone, the install looks clean in my opinion, and the color matches the car exactly - nice 'n red. have hardly touched my cd changer since installing it, which is great cause trunk mounted cd changers are a pain in the ***.

here's the pics:

I got the car mount, the delphi unit, and the modulator for $130 @ Fleabay. Brand new, too.

Yeah, my antenna adapters were $20, which I thought was too much... Not bad on your end too, though.
