xpost audio: thoughts on infinty basslink...anyone?
I can get one new for 229.00. Is it worth it? I have the crappo stock concert system and would like to supplement the bottom end w/out spending a bundle. I don't want crappy boomy bass, but I figured a sealed(?) 10 wouldn't do that...

You can actually get one for $216...
...a guy sells them Dutch on eBay for that price. I have the Bose system and just received my sub in the mail on Tuesday. I've got an appointment next Thursday to get it installed, though my friend Saturnine had some problems with his install of it at the same place and is getting it removed. I'll go and have a talk with them about the feasibility of it. I think it can be done easily, but these guys screwed it up. He said the bass was pleasing, for sure.

Are you able to disclose the installer's name?
I live in the Bay Area (and I think you guys do too) and I'd want to avoid using them by mistake. You can email me if you'd rather be discrete. Thanks.
