First off, this is not a "Yakima vs. Thule" posting. If you want that, go through the archives to see what a4.org readers think about their racks (hint, I'm going with the Yakima). What this post is, is a list of US mailorder shop prices for the Yakima and Thule roof rack to carry 2 bikes by the forks. As you can see, it does pay to shop around, and there is a big price difference between Thule and Yakima. The prices below include the following: 4 towers/feet, 2 crossbars, 2 fork mounts and long trays, 4 clips/fit kits, 6 locks and the fairing.<p>www.rei.com: Thule = $437 US.
