Yay! Old rusty exhaust is out. ;) Now I have to wait 'till the 11th for the "new" to arrive.

Maybe the UP's man will bring it sooner. I can hope.

Unfortunately/fortunately my converter came out in one piece so I don't need to get a TP/free-flow cat. Now I just need to order new gaskets, tranny mounts and fab up my custom DTS with rubber mount for the tail end of the trans.

Since I have a few days of the car being in my shop (radiant floor heated no less) I think I'll change all the gear/diff oils and slide in the new V&S short shifter. Going to do a custom reworking of the shifter linkage "u-joint" to get the slop out as well. I'll do a write up with pics. ;-)

Just thought I'd share... postwhore really.

Default "Going to do a custom reworking of the shifter linkage "u-joint" to get the slop out as well. ".....

I think I had that, but retightening the jam nut got rid of it... It's been over a month, still no problems or I just didn't get what you meant...
