Don't have a pic....but, thought I'd let u guys know what I did. My A4 is a 96 model and it doesn't have footwell lights. I purchased a cold cathode fluro light (30cm) and mounted it under the center of the dash. Hooked it up to the interior lights.
So basically when my interior lights come on the front footwells eminate a nice red glow. Sounds a little rice, I know.....but (my closing argument) it's not particularly bright light - more like a subtle red glow in the footwell. If the door is shut and the red light is on, from the outside u can't see it through the tinting unless u look closely through the glass. In the daytime it is also hardly visable whilst in the car.
What u all think??

i did that too... my friend let me borrow his "red plastic sheet", i cut out two little pieces and
put it over the footwell lights. hardly noticable, but it cost me nothing except about 3 minutes of time.
