Hi all,

I'm thinking of renewing my car from a 2001 1.8T sport to a 2.0 FSi Sport, how do they compare?
Any info would be great.

Plus with the 2.0 it will stay 150bhp... 1.8T you have option$

plus the 2.0 only has one exhaust pipe...... not good!

plus I'm guessing you're UK. Why not TDi, seriously good cars

I would assume the 2.0 without a turbo isn't worth the added cost

Hopefully there'snot much difference in cost, I'll have to take it for a spin to see how it drives without the turbo.

And if its MPG you want go TDi.

if you want MPG with some power go 2.5TDi

If its future residual you want you Avant TDi

If you want to spend a fortune on oil go 2.4 V6 (we got them in UK)

If you want performance go later 1.8T as the BHP got higher towards 2004.

But if you want class...... join the 3.0 quattro club, but buy the manual.

hardly anything can be done to the diesel engines
and i personally hate the sound of them.
