2.9 or 3.9% Financing thru Audi Financial Services?
I financed my 2003 A4 1.8TQ last Decmember thru Audi Financial Services. My loan rate was 3.9% for 60 months. Since then I've seen references on this forum about 2.9% financing. Did I get screwed by the dealer? Over 60 months that's more than $800 difference in price. They never told me they were getting 1%. If the deal was really supposed to be 2.9% I'm going back to complain.

That may be it...
I told the finance guy what my pre-approved credit union rate was and he said that put me in the 2nd preferred category, although before he even knew that he said the rate was 3.9%, so maybe it was 3.9% in December.

Whenever I asked; I was told 3.9% ....(cont')
and that was supposedly it. Their best offer. And this was w/o a credit check. ( I was told some stories of customers wanting better APR's because other manufacturers were offering 0 Down, 0 APR,...etc. And they were told; well go buy that American car then). No deal. They made it out like that was very good and might even change soon (go up).
I never heard the 2.9% mentioned, so I am wondering why it was offered to some. I was also told that my credit score did not really matter to them. They mainly wanted to see some sort of history of payment. I also had VW Credit Financing to show. Hmmmmmmm, not fair.
