0-60 is 7.7 or 8.5 for 1.8T stock. I love the car, and im getting one so...
dont get me wrong. I have been searching cars for a year. From BMW Merc, Acura, Subaru (WRX) used cars. i have seen it ALL and finally decided on the a4. The only thing that I think puts the 1.8T at a dis-advantage is its power. For its price and the competitors in its class i think it should have a little more.
That is the only thing. I love this car, and have picked it over everything else, so dont get the wrong idea. I dont wanna drag, track race, or any of that but 170 horses just seems a little for the price and the class it is in.
Just my opinion

Lets face it, the 1.8T needs about 190-200hp to stay competitive to what is in the market..
The 3.0 should have at least 230hp, to offset the weight against the 3 series. Look at the Car and Driver test. If the 3.0 had about 10-15 more hp it probably would have had a good chance to win. Audi must realize that their cars weigh more than the 3 series and therefore should have more hp to stay competitive. Think about the stock 1.8T with 4 people in the car, and the a/c on.......
