Default 2nd that. I have HPS and love them. I have the 255mm upgrade in rear, too.

And although people will tend to say 10mm isn't much, anything increasing rotor size will help leverage and help braking.
People who race kill for an extra 10mm up front, so it couldn't hurt even though it's in the back. Plus, with a BBK, I want to even out front bias.

I have 245mm rears on MY 2005 1.8t. Can't hurt to measure.

Default Axxiss Ultimates are nice as well, but damn, they sure do dust a lot.

Default For comparison here is a pic of my rears (HPS). The rear wheels haven't been cleaned in 3-4 weeks.
