Default 2003 A4 Sport package not 20mm lowered ?!

I just came back from the dealer lot after measuring a few 2003 A4 and the 2003 sport suspension package is NOT lower than the standard one. According to the 2002 and 2003 brochures, the sport package suspension should drop the car by about 20mm compared to the non-sport setup. When I have done this earlier this year on 2002 models, I have easily observed that 20 mm difference in height between sport package (66cm) and non-sport models (68cm).
The 2003 A4 Sport measured today sits at 68cm front and 68.5cm rear. Can anyone confirm this?
BTW, I am aware of the 17" sport wheel and all-season tire option and verified the Sport Package option on two 2003 A4s.

Default The cars you measured: were they pre-delivered? Cos they have suspension locks (transit)...

which lift the car.

Default Re: suspension locks (transit), will call the dealer tomorrow

Good point, although these cars looked ready for a testdrive. I will call the service dept. and ask them about the locks and 20mm drop tomorrow.

Default I don't agree. Audi shakes up the newly built A4's partly to encourage the early settlement...

of the suspension (see the article). BTW, for those complaining with creaks and rattles, did you cars go through the shake test?

http://www.autoweb.com.au/start_40/showall_/id_AUD/doc_aud0109041/cms/news/newsarticle.html</a

I haven't heard of AUDI developing new sports suspension components. So it should look/work like 02

Default Ours Sure is!

Most non-audi people think that it has aftermarket lowering springs.
