2003 a4 wheel with no tiptronic
saw my first 2003 3.0 A4 yesterday, still covered in plastic. Got the dealer to let me sit in so I could see what's actually changed. This car DOES have the premium package which gives the 'multi-function' wheel. Unlike the pictures <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/133368.phtml">here</a> , this wheel ONLY had the radio control buttons and didn't have the tiptronic controls. Did they really delete these for 2003 or did I see an early production car or something?

I think I heard about that.
I think it had something to do with the introduction of Telematics.
Can someone confirm that the tip controls on the steering wheel are gone for all '03 configurations?

how would telematics make a difference? The link I posted was for a 2002 model which had telematics AND tip on the wheel, and it had the radio controls there too. What a dumb decision, that was one of the best features of my test drive, changing gear with my thumb.
