I plan on swapping out the ko3 sport from my 2004 a4 with a ko4 0015 turbo. Giac is currently developing software for this application. I am looking for the opinons of others with this. I was told the ko4 is only a tad larger than the ko3 sport, and is not worth upgrading. What do you guys think??

and it's a fun turbo. It spools instantly. If you must have 300hp than i'd say forget it, but GIAC got a sh1tload out of the K04 on the B5 chasis. Just about as much as MTM is getting out of it on the B6. Look up mmart (matt) who is putting out 275lb/ft of torgue. Jet and I are putting down around 280lb/ft TO THE WHEELS on the MTM stage 3 with an N75K. cheers! Mike

not worth upgrading? who told you that? K04 is also the safest turbo upgrade out there.

Who told you GIAC is developing K04 software ? I think that they are mistaken.
