30k service is due... DIY or take it to an Audi dealer?
My car is out of warranty and is due for a 30k miles service soon. I am deciding how to service my car: take it to an Audi dealer, my family mechanic (he is too busy tho) or DIY.
The local Audi dealer charged me an arm and a leg for the last service @ 20k. To be honest, I feel that they did no more than just changing the oil and filter.
I am a pretty handy person and did an oil and filter change at 25k miles. The brake pads have been changed at 20k by my family mechanic. Everything seems to be working fine. Should I just save some money and do the 30k service (oil, filter and spark plugs change) myself? Is there anything else I should do or look out for?
