Sup guys, havn't been around to post much but I finally got my car back. After many months of deciding which kit I should get for my A4, I finally decided to go with Reiger. Pictures are great, but after seeing the ABT, Oettinger, and Reiger kit in person, my mind was made. Many have posted saying the Reiger kit doesn't fit correctly, well...you know what, no after market kit fits like a glove. Most of the kits for the European market are designed pretty well, but still needs to be fitted correctly. If your bodyshop tells you that they can't fit it right, I suggest you find another shop because they obviously arn't experianced enough. The kit is pretty well made compared to the Avant Garde kit I had for my old B5. I bought the Reiger kit from where else?!? Eric at sumpreme power ofcourse! Thnx Eric! I strongly suggest anyone considering the kit to give him a call...he had the best price after calling around different places. Not to mention I've bought many other stuff from him, great guy. Next came the tougher decision...where to get it painted and installed at. Price=Quality? I called A1, M1 as well as WetWorks Garage, and they were all pretty expensive but I know they all do good work as well as most of the show cars. WetWorks quoted $2500!! Can you beleiev that? After talking to a few different ppl in the show scene, I took my car in to CollisionWorks in LongBeach. They have a great facility there and the price was VERY VERY reasonable. They've got UV room to bake the paint which was my main concern, since some bodyshops quote cheaper prices but they dont bake the piant which results in chipping after driving down the street a few times (learned my lession from my last kit-which I paid $500 for paint and installation but chipped like crazy after just a few months). So this time around, I wanted to get it done right the first time. Mike at CollisionWorks was great, I can't believe I actually had a possitive experiance from bodyshops. Mike actually took pictures of each bumper after installing and emailed it to me for my approval before proceeding to the next peice. I didn't like the rear installation and they pulled the whole thing off, repainted and reinstalled. Now, thats what I call customer service! I would strongly suggest them to anyone in Socal looking for a bodyshop. They are not the cheapest, but definately very reasonable price with great great customer care. Ask for Mike and tell him John with the Black A4 recommanded you and he'll hook you guys up. Lastly, I've almost hated that damn M3 spoiler I put on when I first got my car. Everyone said it fits it fits, so I bought one from BMW dealer. You know what?!? IT does NOT fit. If you are considering it, don't get it. Trust me. The M3 lip spoiler is soft plastic which can be shaped to the trunk, but imo its so ugly in person and it requires trimming and the fit wont be perfect. I pay a lot of attention to little details and I just hated that thing so I had the shop pull it off. Btw, if you want to buy it I still have it and its for sale but I suggest all of you to get the audi trunk spoiler. Again, I went back to Eric at SPP looking for a new spoiler that would fit my car and my kit. I decided to go with the Audi style trunk spoiler which was around $200, just a little bit more than the M3 but OMG...the difference is amazing. This wing is my favorite part of the car now!! It makes the car looks so aggressive from the direct rear end, yet its very subtle. I've seen people post saying they paid $400 or something thats why I never bothered getting one because I thought it was too expensive for a spoiler, but turns out to be $200 about and the fit is WAY better than that of the m3 spoiler. If you guys have any other questions feel free to ask.
BTw -thats my 9 yr old cousin trying to reach the steering wheel...lol
