A4 1.8T 2006 B6 17887 P1479 brake boost vacuum system problem
17887 brake boost vacuum system problem
Hello I'm using vagcom and I got that code 17887 brake boost vacuum system
P1479-008 mechanical failure
I ordered a new pump and still getting the code. My car has a high idle RPM 1000 in Drive position and to move forward it jerk with acceleration to 1500RPM.
I performed a output test and the pump run fine.
I performed a vacuum boost leak test with air pressure and smoke and nothing coming out.

I have the same problem on my car - A4 (B6) 2,0 96kW atm
But the other code is different:
17887 - Brake Boost Vacuum System (P1479-008 - Mechanical Failure)
17545 - Fuel Trim. Bank 1 (Add) (P1137-002 - System too Rich - MIL ON)
First code is permanent (after I delete it, comes back again) and the other shows up after some time of driving.
I took the car to repair shop and they said that pump itself is faulty. So I ordered new one (not very cheap though) and the problem was gone for a month or so. Now it came back yesterday and exact same codes appeared.
Any suggestions anyone where to look further and how?
Please help if you have any info!
