Not sure where in northern Jersey you are, but I bought my new A4 at Bell Audi in Rahway. Nice place and very helpful . The salesman I dealt with was named Ken.
Check a few pages down about more information with the dealer. I think another person also went there.
Managed to get my 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro and all my options for $854 over invoice price. From what I have been reading on the board, that's pretty damn good.
Got the Dolphin Grey with platinum interior and the following options:
1) Heated seats
2) Pearl paint
3) Sunroof
4) Sport Package
5) Xenons
Invoice is $29,046. I got them to give it to me for $29,900.

I went to Bell Audi, spoke to Ken Pena and he matched the price Eddie got with only $854 over invoice.
I got 1.8T Quattro 5 spd with metallic paint, heated seats, sunroof, premium package and sport package for 28645. The sticker is $30,550.

Very happy for you. What did I deal you!!?? They seem very willing to work with you and are giving a great price compared to what I've been reading. I don't know, maybe they aren't getting as much business as everyone else. But I (we) think it was a steal.

Hopefully Ken will let me know by the end of the week!
He initially said about 4-6 weeks.
But until he hooks me up with my own car in the pipeline I'm not sure.
