Default AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!

It's time to buy a new car. Iv'e had nothing but problems this last month since my warranty ran out. I was going to put my new shocks on tonight. I got the rear driver sode up on the factory jack and the car slid over and now I have a gash in the side skirt and in the rear door. I used a larger jack to lift the car off of the factory jack and I had to use rubber mallett to get the jack unstuck from the door. Damn I'm pissed!!!!!! I've never had a problem with a factory jack. It was level and everything. I've always been paranoid about this happening and always double check EVERYTHING. Now I've got to get it repaired before NOPI nationals next weekend. Crap. Sorry for the long rant. Had to vent somewhere.

Default Thanks guys.

It looks like I'll be ordering the S4 door blades a lot earlier than I expected.

Default that sucks...

had something similar happen to me - was using jack on roadside and car slipped. it ****ed up the underside trim, which sucked, but i guess not as bad as what happened to you

Default correction to both of us.... a Jack alone is suicide for a shock install.

jack stand and jack and chocks for safety (if you value your well being).

Holy hell I've never thought somebody would attempt to install a shock dampener with the STOCK emergency jack... thats about as smart as smoking while filling the tank with petrol/gasoline (diesel is much harder to ignite).
