Alarm Problem
I have searched the site and could not find a similar issue with the alarm system.
Here is what happens:
I press the lock button on my remote and the turn signals flash, doors lock but no beep indicating alarm is on. The door light indicator flashes faster than normal for about three seconds and stays on illuminated.
Something is wrong and I don't know what. Tommorrow is Saturday and I have to leave for work for about a week. I am affraid that it may drain the battery down while I am gone on top of the alarm problem itself.
Any insights are appreciated

Follow up on Alarm Problem
I have also checked it pressing the panic button, where turn signals are flashing but no alarm horn, also checked the motion sensor and it works, but turn signals only, again no alarm horn. Maybe, alarm horn is out, the fuse for alarm horn mybe blown or else....Any ideas?

Try deactivating the interior motion sensor...
The on/off button is located on the driver side door inside the side pocket area.
The manual will indicate where it is and how to turn it off.

I tried that. That did not change anything. Reading the manual for the car that was the first thing to do. I suspect I have a bad alarm horn. I will have to call Audi on Monday and schedule an appointment. It is still under waranty. Thanks for responding to my post.

I have the same issue, unfortunately, my car is not under warranty and I got quoted 500$ by a chicagoland dealer. It is for the horn part, 300 bucks for part and 200 for labor. Havent fixed it yet, will keep you posted.
