Didn't I read that you were replacing your current A4? Are you doing something to your current car or making plans for the new one? Are you selling the current car with all the mods on it?

IMO it would look good without the blades...
just the way it is now. Caractere looks great but also has somewhat conservative lines. However, you could do blades and no sideskirts and that would also look good.
Sideskirts + Door blades = Too busy looking in relation to the front end.

maybe consider the Ultra Sport flares instead which is smaller
