anyone experienced this?

it happened last week, not too cold as seen on the dash display. All the gears were selected, and it did not go away when I shifted the lever into P, or into the Tip slot. Maybe I have been using the Tiptronic too much?
The next morning it works perfectly fine. I suppose it would work if I restarted the engine right away the nite before as well, but what would be the cause?... (i doubt it is caused by the low washer fluids level tho :P)

I found out after I dropped off my friend (a soon to be ownver of B6 Avant!)
... so I parked my car on the side of the road, with flashers on, shifted into "P" with e-brake, then took the pic.

i think it was almost -30 celcius with windchill couple weeks ago, but
i think places like Winnepeg or Montreal/Quebec area would be even colder... man! I want Spring to come!
