anyone have any clues to rear window replacement?
my defroster grid has been missing a substantial chunk from the middle...for a while...just wanted to get a rough estimate on the costs.

Permatex makes it.
Easy.
Clean window real good. Find the break in the defrost line. Use some blue (or green) painters tape to set out the repair (rather than the tape in the kit which has too thick of a slot for my taste -- you'll see when you get the kit). Brush the repair paint on with a toothpick (or the included brush). Let dry for a while and then remove tape.
New window has to be $500 easy. Kit costs about $15. I imagine a auto glass place can do the repair for you for $50.

I've been semi aware of this, however have read that it's only good for up to an inch or so of break
I'll have to give it a shot thought as I'm not spending $$$ on this yet.
