no it wont recognize...
everything else is fine. it powers up. get the red light. get the little ding but comp says it there is a prob with new hardware.it used to work fine.

anyone have any suggestions? i have like 100 cds i want to load....
needless to say, im PISSED. wht cant **** just work the way its supposed to, is that too much to ask?

i have one...i have not had any problems - and i don't even use the "official" software
i have a mac so I use PhatMac software, and I have had no problems.
If your software is not recognizing the DMS you might want to check the USB port its plugged in to.

try this??
if you take the dms apart, you can try connecting it direct using a hard drive adapter, its happened to me before, and that worked, after I did this the computer picked it up when I next plugged it into the dms dock.
