I saw one the other night at the dealer.
I stood in the rain and looked at all of the details.
The roofline is a thing of beauty. It flows so nicely into the long rear quarters in the spirit of so many great American coupes of yore.
The rear quarters and front fenders bulge in a muscular, yet fit, way. The flare is so subtle that is has to be seen in person to be appreciated.
Tucked under those fenders are some beautiful 19" wheels. They have the perfect offset that position them just a hair inboard of those fenders. The wheels do not appear to be big or give the car the wagon wheel look. They look smaller than they are and make you appreciate the fluidity of the whole design.
The trunk has a really nice spoiler designed in it. It's not added on with 3m tape or wood screws like so many ghetto cruisers. It's incorporated into the design.
The grey paint reflected the dim light while the water slowly beaded off of the body's sexy curves. It was as classy as a proper grey business suit.
I could keep going, but I won't. The S5 was "special." Don't let anyone tell you any different.
