Appt. to test drive a4 1.8tq on monday, what to expect?
My VW Corrado SLC is currently up for sale in favor of a 2002 a4 1.8tq sports package. Funny thing is, I went to the dealer near me and had to schedule an appt. for a test drive. The day will be Monday and I'm pretty anxious to see how one drives.
My question, what will I expect? I've never driven a quattro-equipped Audi before. How is acceleration coming from a VR6?

if manual, be sure to lower armrest after lowering parking brake
after reading many on this board complain about arm rest interfering with shifter, when I test drove 1.8tqm last week, I noticed same thing. 1/2 way through test drive, I noticed that armrest wasn't down all of the way.
