APR Stage 1+
Have anybody tried the chip and injector?
Any side effect or problems so far?
My car comes with the free maintainance
Does anyone know it would effect anything ??<ul><li><a href="http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/ecu_upgrade_8ea418t.html">http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/ecu_upgrade_8ea418t.html</a</li></ul>

Don't waste your money...(more)
Our stock injectors (though small) is capable of pushing the power range with the tiny K03. A well-tuned program will allow you to push as much power (if not more) as the APR 1+. I would save your money and invest the $400-500 elsewhere.
Many chip companies attempt to "tweek" power by either detuning your knock sensors so that they will be less sensitive to knocks, thus advancing timing as well as leaning out your A/F mixture. I'm not sure how APR tunes their chips, but all I can say is the injectors are unnecessary when properly tuned.
I would stay with a GIAC-S...or even GIAC-X. I had no problem pulling on an APR 1+ car when I had my Neuspeed 1.5 program (my new GIAC-S pulls even harder at just 1.2bar). So go figures.

Any codes when you vag your car with the GIAC? I am still in the chip hunt for the right one...kinda waiting on ABT to see how it goes.

Re: Don't waste your money...(more)
I have the IBE2, so I usually switch back to stock when I bring it into the dealer.
But the new GIAC-S program is based on the revision 3.0 software that Audi's been putting into the cars. My car's stock program was rev. 2.0. When I put in the Neuspeed 1.5...they actually DOWNGRADED it to rev 1.0 (based their software on the 2002's i guess).
With my neuspeed, I would constantly get the DTC 16683 (a code that even Neuspeed couldnt figure out). So far I've had no problems w/ the GIAC-S. I've ran race gas...and literally tore the car up (even in the 100deg+ heat in LA these days)...and no problem yet.
GIAC bases their software on the latest programs that Audi/VW releases... and provide "Free Lifetime Upgrades" in case Audi/VW decides to do some revisions on their base software (which is currently going on from the ignition problems which is said to be a possible cause for the coilpack failures).
I know that ABT is "German"... but I don't know what validity that has just because something is "From Germany" is "better". I've had no problems w/ my GIAC-S... at only 1.2bar... the car feels much smoother and stronger than my Neuspeed 1.5bar.
You might want to look at this link... I know it's from an S4... but it gives you an idea...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1185070.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1185070.phtml</a></li></ul>

Got 1+ w/EMCS, no problems, feels better than stage 1, worth the money?
Maybe. I figured this was the last HP/TQ bump I was going to get before stage III+ (if I do it), and who knows when I'm going to have $5000+ lying around. I also like using the cruise stalk to switch programs rather than a separate remote control...just my opinion.
