Default Argggg...anyone have experience with Audi's touch up paint from dealer?

i'm pissed, just found these scratches on my car while getting something!!!

I think the door ones I can buff out when I get my buffer (porter cable). It doesn't look as bad as it does in the pics. Not too noticible unless you look for it from the outside.

But the one on the rear fender...that's not good. The white area in the scratch is no more paint...

you think I can touch it up with a touch up stick from the dealer? I cleaned it off and put some wax over it to protect it temporarily from salt...

I didn't hit anything that I know of. Could snow have caused this? I have driven through some deep s tuff but slowly and it was mostly power snow...

thanks guys.

Hell no, dont touch that with touch up paint. It will look like a mess. Go to a paint shop.

Default Try "Finesse-It II" polishing compound first

It's a very fine polishing compound that I've found works great on fine scratches. Not all auto parts stores have it so mihgt take soem looking.

The dealer touch-up paint is fine, but the problem is any time you use a brush to apply paint you'll end up with a noticeable repair (well, I do!).

Default thanks for the info. Definitely going to try and polish out the door ones, as they aren't deep...

mainly surface scratches, just sucks tho.

Default i've used touch up paint from dealer. same exact paint id but doesn't seem to match that well

good thing it was on a small spot. maybe i needed to buff it or something. Anyway, here are some other leads.

Unfortunatly, no personal experience on them. Was going to order from them...
