Default Atlanta GB for window tinting....update

Sorry it's taken so long guys, but work had been kicking my *** and I haven't been in town much. Leaving again in a about 30 minutes for 2 more days. Enough of that crap though.

Went buy Custom Sun Control this morning and told them about the group buy and the conditions are as follows for the 6-7 persons.

1st 2 people: $300.00
3-7 is $280.00 (yep, only $20 off)
Avant owners: $330 (with the discount normal is $350.00)
You can get any % or choose from the two types of tint they offer, which they use Formula One brand.

The Metalic Tint=Premier Series
The Smoke=Ultimate Series

32% is the lowest allowed here in GA. You can get other % if you want.

Lifetime warranty on the film.

These guys are tope of the line. They were in the Marrieta paper and just won World Champions for quality, style and application techniques at a recent contest.

They have done alot of Audi's apparently. Some Audi club just came in and did a group buy. Any body have any idea who they are?

So there it is in a nut shell. Throw me out a thread if any one is still intersted. I'll be back on Wednesday and will read up the responses then.

In the mean time....

Not as cheap as I had hoped, but the implied quality sounds worth it.....count me in.

Default Comments...please read

If we have seven confirmed tinters it would work out to $285.71 each. That figure is arrived at by adding $300.00 + $300.00 + (5 x $280.00) which equals $2000.00 and then divide by 7. You all follow? So five of us would owe $2.86 to each of the first two tinters to reemberse them for the extra they had to pay. We could all get together after the last person gets tinted (probably me due to delivery issues) and pay our $3.00 to them both.

I am in but can anyone verify if $285.00 is a good value for Formula One Metalic tint? That does sound high...even with that TINY discount. Ed, how much was your '01 when you tinted it out there? Maybe we should get a few more Group Buy quotes from some other shops before we proceed...any thoughts? The awards thing sounds cool, but are you sure they were not just blowing you smoke? Everyone envolved please check in...Thanks all.

Default I'm in for the group buy

I don't mind paying extra for a good job done locally. Of course, if we found a good place that was cheaper I'm all for it also.

Default I will check a formula one dealer near one ....

of my offices in Duluth tomorrow. It is a shop right off of Satelite behind Gwinette Place Mall. They have been in business for years and have seen some of the work they have done. My friends tell me that they do good work. More details tomorrow.
