please go to the URL below and try to replicate this.... i am going to my local tuner tomorrow to do some dataloggin and i would like to be able to tell them that it is not only me that is having this problem.

Stage 1+ and put the injectors in myself. I'll try and replicate as soon as I get through break-in (the car's only been a week on the road, and I have about 1000 more km's to put on before I can crank it and let you know if I get that 4th/5th gear thing). Let me know how things go on your end. I should be in a position to tell you more in about a month...btw, when I spoke to Jeremy, he said that the shifting problem seemed to be isolated to your car, and he hasn't heard of the same problem from anyone else. I hope they get it fixed for you, though. Do you think it might be a bad transmission chip?

i would be REALLY suprised if MY car is the only one with this problem

its called gear hunting. same thing happens to my s4.

An APR rep told me that there is a slight flaw in the chip for 2003 tips because they didn't test it enough. He said that the chip should be cured in a few months.

jeremy told me that all of the cars they have to test with are all manual trannys... so how would they know if the software they release works on tips or not.. or what the problems people might run into..
