Default AUDI DEFECT!!!

OK i totally noticed this by chance everyone,
but-there seems to be an imperfect fit on the audi (im shocked! but theres no denying it).
i think everyone else should check as well.
start by looking straight on to the car, now feel for the metal area to the left and right of the grill (where the nose overlaps the headlights). On my BRAND NEW 02 A4, there is a larger gap over the headlights more on the right (looking head on) than to the left, the gap is visible as well, but to actually feel it becomes so much more obvious. My car is not an accident car (but seeing how the gap on the right side is larger than on the left- you might actually conclude this, thats how bad the gap is). I urge everyone to check and if we all have the same problems than i think some type of compensation is at hand. Im very dissapointed. please let me know thanks.

Audi has 3mm gap allowance - much smaller than most brands. Have your dealer correct.

I think this gap can be adjusted via bolts under the hood.

Default Re: AUDI DEFECT!!! - it's designed to be over the headlights...

First of all, the gap is DESIGNED to be over the headlights. It keeps the washer fluid spraying on the headlights from going up on to your hood. Makes sense, right?

However, I would imagine the gaps should be the same above both headlights. I'll have to check mine and see if they're not, but I remember studying the overlap a bit and looking to see if it had channels to divert the washer fluid to the side, etc.
