If you had a choice, which ? A4/B7 or BMW 330xi all wheel drive ? or 325xi AWD
Dependability, warranty? Service ?

Default neither :)

honestly well id say B7 before the new 3 series... but as a B6 driver id have a hard time dropping the extra money on a car that looks (to me) worse than mine with the same interior.

but the 3 series is disgusting IMHO, as well as the 5,6,7, and z4... i really think bmw messed with a good thing

if i didnt have a B6 already id probably think the B7 A4 was a decent car... so my vote is B7 A4

Default Sorry I've sat in a freinds brand new 330xi.... B7 A4 ALL the way....

I think the cars are equally dependable....dont recall what the BMW warranty is....service it's hit or miss with either bmw or audi....depends on the stealership you go to..

Default BMW = 4yr/50k nowadays, can't go wrong w/ either, w/ Audi's...

price hike, the b7 is now in bimmer territory (price-wise). If you're just comparing 6-bangers, their inline 6 would have the performance edge. Plus, their NA 6 cylinder has plenty of mods available, albeit expensive. I would recommend Audi, despite not ever owning a BMW. Like I said earlier, you can't go wrong w/ either choice (splitting hairs IMO).

Default b7 a4. no contest.

the AWD system on BMWs is quite frankly amateur compared to the Quattro systems on A4s.

Obviously you do want AWD, since you are looking at the XI versions of the 330. I thought the 330xi felt slow and sloppy when i drove one last year.

Default Test drove both. B7 A4 all the way...

The 330i may have a slight advantage in performance, but the B7 is overall a much better car imo. Get the Technology package (Navi+) and S-line if you're into cosmetics. Check out my pic poster if you wanna see some shots.

Default BMW 330i...

since I don't live in an area that snows, i don't really care for AWD. i think the E90 BMW would have a lot more to offer in terms of performance and handling, all the while giving good fuel economy too. I just don't want to deal with Audi's poor customer service and some of the subpar materials they use. Then again, a lot may have to do with the local dealer.

Default for the AWD?

thats a no brainer, definitely B7 A4. If you want power, BMW 330i would be the one.

Default This depends on what you are lookng for..

BMWs w/ AWD lose a lot in terms of performance and handling - drive a RWD 330 and then a 330xi and its not the same.

If you need AWD, get the B7. If you don't, BMW as a company takes better care on the whole of its customers than Audi...

myself personally, I'd take the B7 because I want AWD. If I lived in warm climate year round...the 330 would be very tempting.
