Audio Elite in Miami is awesome for sound
They installed 2 JL Audio 10w3's and a Fosgate Power 800 amp for me today integrated into the stock system and it sounds pretty damn good. They made a custom amp holder box for behind the seats that looks great!! They also hard wired my Bell 980. These guys are the best installers I have worked with and I have seen many in my time. They do quality work at a very very reasonable price. Anyone in the Miami area should consider using these guys-they are pros.
Now its onto tinting for my 1.8t!!

grr...wish i could find a sweet place like that up here in DC! do you have anymore details?
such as how they wired everything up?
did they tap into the stock amp to get remote turn on? did they tap into stock sub or rear speakers to get a signal and use a line converter?
sounds like you're hooked up!
i have all my old equipment from my last ride just sitting around. i don't wanna rip my new A4 apart, yet i fear for my car's safety at most of the "install" shops around here!

Re: is this symphony 2 stereo? how much? did the amps make a big difference for the speaker output
This was the bone stock system. They used the line level to RCA converters. Then they built a custom box for the amp that fits between the seats and the sub box that looks so sweet-it is carpeted and everything. Soundwise it has made a huge difference . The sound is much much fuller now. Granted it doesnt sound like my old system with 3 sets of a/d/s components and the subs in the back but very very adequate. I used to live in DC/Balt area and there is an installer in Silver Spring that does a very nice job although I dont recall there name off hand.

I am in the same boat!
I have my Rockford amp and subs sitting around. I need to find out exactly which wire and were it is to tap into for the remote turn on. Also need to find out if I should tap into the speaker lines for the high level before they go into the stock amp or after they come out of stock amp.
I need to know for sure before I go taking things apart. I only like to do things once!!

Re: I am in the same boat!
I believed they tapped in after the amp due to voltage probs that the amp might have had with the pre signal. They also remote turned on to my head unit in the front. Email if you have any more questions.
