Audio Hookups?
i have the bose upgrade, which i understand is just a more powerful amp. but anyway, is there a way to attach external sources to the head unit? i have an iPod (mp3 player) which i use in the car via tape adapter. since these generally end up doing damage to the cassette player, i was wondering if any of you have any ideas how to attach an external source to the sounds system in the car. thanks

There have been a few discussions about this like Big D said, BUT, the adapter they used will NOT...
work on the 2002 A4. On our cars, the optional secondary CD changer does not go in the trunk - it goes in the glove box. Because of that, there isn't the normal prewired setup with a round connector; You must get a line-in adapter that connects directly into the back of the head unit. There was some talk that Blitzsafe and one other company might have them already for the 2002 A4, but I'm not sure if there was any confirmation.
