Default autodimming not working again

The car has been @ Audi of Charlotte for 2 days...I called today and they don't know what is going on, they have called the Audi hotline more than once. The problem: the drivers side rearview mirror not autodimming. They replaced the mirror, worked for a couple of days, then it stopped working. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the center rearview mirror. Same thing...worked for a couple of days...then it stopped working. By the way, the center and left mirrors work fine.

Any suggestions?

Very frustrated...

Default I hear ya brother!! My A4 is in the shop for the same damn reason.

My side view mirrors haven't worked since I got the damn thing 6 months ago. Finally got the shop to take a look at her. I don't know the outcome since she's still in the shop overnight( have to get all the front door speakers replaced also). Rear view (center) works fine, but the sides....nothing! Just one of the growing list of problems with this car.
Built May 2002.
You know, I still love this car even though this is the 4th time to the shop in 6 1/2 months. I'm sure my patience will run thin...soon!

Default In my case, the center and left rearview mirrors work, so it was very (more)

easy to tell the right one was not working. The reflection from cars behind me or passing me was what triggered me to have the dealer look at the problem. I also used a flash light (center mirror sensor) to test them myself before going to the dealer.

Default If they are working then you will get a "greenish" tint to the mirror when exposed to bright light

Other wise, they will just be he same "white" reflection from the cars headlights. There is a sensor on the center rear view mirror. Put your finger over it at night with cars behind you and you should see the tint of your mirrors change.
