Drivers who give their car a name look after them better, a survey has revealed.
According to research by Internet site Fish4cars, 70 per cent of traders said vehicles which had been 'christened' usually came with a full service history and have been better driven.
The top three names for motors are Betsy, Fred and Baby.

My friend kept bugging me until I named my car...
So I told her to chalk up a list of names for me... she somehow found a German name dictionary and got about 15. She was really dead set on my car having a name. I finally wound up choosing Gita, though I don't actully call it that unless my friend's in earshot

lol...we named our old car...
a Renault R6 (back in Switzerland), but I doubt it got treated any better...underpowered thing for the Alps...often had to push it up hills!
Betsy, Fred, Baby...how's this for a name: s'Renöltli! (means 'a baby Renault').
If I name my A4, it won't be a tongue-twister

here it is....taking the turns

Or, are the turns taking it?
Engine in front...it actually had a crank up there in case the battery went dead! Something like 40 horses...much faster uphill with a cow pulling it!
Rear engine...perhaps you're thinking of the Renault Dauphine?
