would be looking at the 1.8t. what kind of gains are people getting when chipping your cars? and maybe some overall impressions would be nice. maybe some b5 owners that are now b6 owners?

My B5 was modded a bit. Slotted rotors, eibach springs, and I had an APR chip. The B6 with sport package ride is a bit smoother and it handles a bit better, probably b/c of the 17's. My B6 in an '03, so I missed out on a few of the options I had on my B5, some of which were/are available in MY '02 & '04. Auto dim mirror, and aluminum trim to name a couple. My car only has about 7000 miles on it, and funds are a bit low, but I think once I hit 10K, I will go with an APR chip again. I was very happy with it. Not many differences between the two cars otherwise. I was very happy with my B5, the only reason I have a new one is bc my other car was totalled. I'm very happy with this one. Hope this helps
