Default Big difference between OEM Synthethic Transmission fluid vs Motul?
I'm thinking since its a long weekend, might be a good time to change my tranny fluid...if my tool I ordered arrives in time. But if I order the Motul tonight, probably won't get here till next week sometime. Is there a big difference between the two? I've been happy with the OEM synthetic in there now, but 58k miles on the original fluid already.

Cost wise, $13/liter of Motul from Induktion Motorports. How much is the OEM stuff at the dealer?

As long as it meets LT-71141, go for the Motul. OEM is Castrol-made.

Default I thought I would save time and go to the dealer to buy it IF my tool came in
this weekend but it won't be here till the 21st. So I'll order up the Motul. Its 3 bottles of that stuff I need, right?

My mechanic uses six. iirc, some people claim it's less.

a manual 5 speed uses 2.75 liters. buy 3 and you'll be good to go.

Default Argh, maybe the 3rd time someone was talking about MTF when I thought they meant ATF."Trans fluid"is
too ambiguous. Maybe I should double check with people when they say trans fluid, but stating "ATF or MTF" is more descriptive.
