Blown Left Headlight 2002 A4

Here is a link I used to change mine a few months ago....
The article is for a clear corner mod but it explains how to get the light assembly out. It wasn't too hard to do....just 4 screws and some clips if I remember correctly.
You will need a Torx Screw with a long extension on it to get the back 2 screws.<ul><li><a href="http://a4mods.com/index.php?page=webcontent/pages/clearcorner.html">http://a4mods.com/index.php?page=webcontent/pages/clearcorner.html</a</li></ul>

its just a b**ch to get the whole assembly out but can be done in 25-45 minutes
depending on which side. alot of junk in the way, but if you are die-hard and want to save the bucks, do it yourself.
remember to keep all grease and dirt (use gloves) off the bulb itself when you swap it. then you wont be doing it again shortly
halogens dont like dirt, xenons even more so.
the dealer charges alot because they have to take the same amount of time to do the job at their ridiculous rates.
most vw shops will do it at about the same hourly amount of time but half the dealer rate.
or just find another b6 dude and get a 6 pack and some beer and go to town at it.
in all fairness, it was just easier to get a set of factory xenon setup (the whole assembly plug n play) and swap those out.
After replacing 2 bulbs thats what i did. both xenon was $400 used from a dude here, and since theres no filament to bounce around they tend to last ALOT longer, and of course you can actually see at night
