Boxter vs A4... My weekend race... Review of the device that saved me, my Solo S2 radar dector

So Sunday I was driving to San Jose. For those of you that know the area I was on the 85 and about to get on the 280 and this Porsche Boxter wouldn't get off my ***. I'm doing about 85 at this point. So I decide to see how fast he wants to go... So we get on the 280 and we are going about 100 at this point. He passes me on the left (of course a porsche is a lot faster than my A4, but with the UltraSport people that don't know always assume I have an S4) and I quickly try to catch up. He of course gave me a cocky look as he passed... Anyway, we got up to almost 120 (which I am sure you know is about max for the A4) in the fast lane... I was right on his ***. Then all of a sudden my radar dector starts going off like crazy. I drop it down a gear and then another and get over to the far right lane as fast as possible. This cop then flys by me, gets on the Porsches ***, and pulls him over. I got off the freeway at the next exit... So I guess what I am saying is that this radar dector is worth every penny. I was freaking out though... I have friends that have been pulled over going that fast and they have been taken in and the cars impounded. Needless to say I was taking it pretty easy on the way home...

glad to hear you got away ok...and thanks for the pic post :-)
I've been contemplating that very same grill/badge combo for my front end, and now I know exactly how it would look...nice lookin ride man :-)

Thanks... I had to modify the s-line badge to make it fit on that grill. I think it looks good though, especially in direct light. Also, I just had the lower grill painted to match. I'll get some pics soon...

I wouldn't count on a laser jammer saving your a$$ either...
As far as I know there have been no units on the market that have been proven to be consistently effective against police laser
