On breaking in the engine...
1) Don't get engine RPM's above 3,000
2) Vary engine speeds, i.e. never run at fixed engine speed for a long time as on the highway using cruise control
3) Don't apply Wide Open Throtle
Am I forgetting something?

And, as has been discussed before here, you should NOT limit your RPMs during the whole first thousand miles. You want to make sure your engine is broken in along the range of RPMs up to near redline. Go easy on it at first, but gradually keep increasing your maximum RPMs over the first thousand miles. There was a whole article someone posted on breaking in all four-stroke engines, but some of it was questioned by those on here.
Personally, I would strongly recomend switching to Mobil 1 @ 5000 miles, and changing the oil every 5000 thereafter.
