BTW, guys. The Face lift B6 A4 is due out in Europe this October.

They are still calling it a "Face Lift or re-styled" B6 and not a B7...
How much of a face lift depends on your point of view. Basically they are keeping the same chassis but there will be substantial changes to the body work or sheet metal. Put it this way it is supposed to be a greater change than ever happened to the B5 when it got its face lift

While in Paris last week, I went to Audi France to see if they had anything on the new A6....
Also talked about the A4 and the face lift (confirmed). I also bought a car magazine with all the new car releases and dates at which they were due. The re-styled A4 is scheduled for October. So is the introduction of the new 2.0T motor in the Golf V GTI.

I'm starting to think the new engines will come when the facelift arrives. before ...
I believed we would only see the 2.0T and the re-worked 3.0L v6 when the newer b7 arrives.

Yea the 2.0T would be nice...
It would hurt sales in Europe though as 2.0 litre cars are normally taxed heavily...1.8 or indeed 1.9 litre models fall under a different somewhat cheaper tax bracket...so not sure if this would be a factor for Audi...for North America a 2.0T is badly needed...

If the they stick to their time schedule, we will get the new 2.0T and V6, both FSI with....
The "Face Lift" B6 in April or May 2005. At least that's what been told to the people concerned at Audi.
