Default button in rear console

I have a new 3.0 with premium, Bose, cold weather, etc. In the rear seat center console there is a button with the picture of a key on it. Depressing it has no discernible effect. Does anyone know what this is. I was actually under the impression that the rear seats would be heated with the switches there for that. Thoughts?

That's to unlock the doors and lock them. If you had rear bun warmers, that's where they would go.

Default Actually that is a door lock button for the rear seat passengers.......

check your manual and it will tell you exactly what it does. As far as heated seates, it is controlled by the switches up front, the back seat passengers have no control over the heat.

Aha...I will take another look. Shouldn't rear warmers be part of the premium package though. I think I got robbed here...

Default Well, why would it need to unlock if the doors unlock when you pull them twice?

don't read too much into what I posted, I'm stoned.

Default I think the rear bun warmers were eliminated on the 1.8t premium package.

Don't know about the 3.0 tho

So the rear seats heat with the front controls? I'm terrible about reading manuals...I just try and figure things out by trial and error...
