if either you got a ticket or you witnessed the wraith of the SBPD going nuts !! please call Sgt Olsen of SBPD and explain your story or what you saw

ya for sure, I'm going to call right now.
by the way congrats on a show well done. Even thoughg there were some problems (audis getting in free other not, cops/chp) it was awesome. I saw you walking around a couple of time throughout the day but I could tell that you were super busy so I didn't say hi. At the next meet though we'll have to talk. Again, thanks for the show

dude, ya guys dont understand !! he wants to know what happened, he was [more]
shocked to hear a couple people's stories ... he's taking action, but he needs to know what his department officers were doing
but he was sure surprised that they were in such force against us
me and him had spoken before the event, and he assured me the purpose of the officers around the event is to maintain traffic issues and of course any excessive violators
we had agreed that the crowd was more mature and there shouldnt be any issues, which he confirmed there was no report of any trouble from our event, yet lots of fix-it citations
but he was sure surprised that they were in such force against us

you dont seem to understand, the Sgt sounds like a public relations officer, he will take your calls
because that is what he's there for, but thats were its going to end, the tickets arent going to get dimissed and there isnt going to be any action taken against the officers for doing their jobs, the tickets that were issued were for valid infractions, stop whining and deal with it.

This is the kind of discouragement/hopelessness that keeps rape victims from reporting their rapes.
And yes I'm using that as an example, because thats exactly what it felt like.
And yes, you may be a cop, and yes you might think its futile, but let us try and do something about it. If everyone thought like you, we'd probably be in some ***-backwards society too afraid to use fire to cook.
