Use 0w-40 M1 to meet your warranty requirements.

0w-40 (like Mobil 1) or a 5w-40 might be better.

Default Yes use approved Audi oils only- Mobil 0w-40

is one of them. A few oils(all are synth) on the approved list are:

Castrol Syntec 5w-40
Mobil1 0w-40
kendall GT1 5w-40
havoline syth 5w-40
valvoline synth 5w-40

If it's Castrol Syntec, 0W-30 is the German-made good stuff, and would be fine

my dealer uses syn 5w-40. 0w-40 or 5w40 will be fine, as they are approved from Audi.

Default Castrol Syntec 0W-30 (German) is more than likely what came in it

If the manual indicates that it was filled with 0w-30. Not that I have anything against the 5W-40.

Default Fair enough, but the 0W-30 is a much better formulation then the 5W-40, rated viscosity aside

I have nothing against 5W-40 grade either, but I know that the 0W-30 Syntec is the better oil: if nothing else, the 0W-30 has the VW503.01 certification, which is the extended drain spec, while the 5W-40 doesn't.
