My Engine - a few days after delivery of the car

MB's Engine (Note - there is not supposed to be a diff btw eddie's and MB's engines the compareo is btw mine and the 2 of theres)

Incase you could not see it - the diff is that I do not have a cover over my airbox - its not that i lost it or took it off, it was just never there and I just notcied that today
So the Question - Why do I not have said cover? Not really a big deal - was just wondering - and was thinking maybe eventually i may get stratmosphere intake and would like to follow eddie mans sweet write up and use the cover. Did they just stop putting the covers on the cars in 04?

My car doesn't have that piece either...unless it differs from 1.8Ts and 3.0s

fwiw, it's only like $30 at the dealer. I bought a new one to cut when I did the Hyperflow install

You are also missing the battery cover. I think Audi skipped those in '04 and '05 as well.
