I got those for myself last year. They have that cool ice-gripping compound (like the other good winter tires mentioned in this thread) and got me through some really bad patches last year, including a skiing trip into Canada (Whistler).
I'm a really aggressive driver so I do notice the additional treadblock movement of the winter tires, but it's not too severe. Just don't expect the same dry handling at 120 mph as you have with the standard summer tires.

OT PS - ESP is magic in the snow. Try turning it off when you're playing in a snowy parking lot and you'll see what I mean.

what are they - Borbets? They look nice...
I was being cheap and got the old A4 16" replica wheels for winter - they were only $85 each from Discount Tire last year.
