Center drink holder question

hello! I just bought an A4 Quattro, and there is just silly thing that bothers me. The center console drink holder is so high! If there is a drink in there it makes it so I have to almost contort my arm to shift! Has anyone found any other alternatives that fit down in the console more? Thank you!

BTW, be careful of that drink holder.
If anything spills, it gums up all the controls for the dashboard with dried soda and will cost a lot to disassemble the dash.

Clearly it was a revengeful act by german engineers

You probably already know this but it stumped me until I was playing around. If you are talking about the center arm rest console between the driver seat and passenger seat, there is a bottom on the very front of it that you can push and adjust how low or high that arm rest/console is.
