Chrome mirror cap semi disaster...
Yeah so watch out with those things if you're gonna get them. NOTHING is as simple as they make it out to me.
I ended up getting primer/adhesive (both are a very sticky and black adhesive which once you spill or get somewhere (like all over my hands...) it spreads. So Im trying to scrape it off the outside chrome part, and that was extremely annoying and time consuming, and scratched the outside of the cap a tiny bit. Next the glue cap thingy didn't stay on so I got adhesive on the outer part also.
Basically I made a big mess out of adhesive and primer and some of it is still on the outer part of the chrome mirror, I am hoping I can scrape/wipe/something it off later after the caps are cured for 12 hours (theyre all taped up on it now, looks like a semi-mess still..)
Should I be worried about that adhesive though? It seems to scrape off fairly easily now even when its dried, so hopefully this won't change in 12 hours. It's all over my hands still, pretty gross and dry and it's not coming off for awhile, literally my hands are black/grimy... I can still do things it's just their pretty gross to look at.
BUT... on the upside of things, if the caps cure on correctly and stay in position AND I can scrape/wipe off whatever adhesive/gluey crap is still on the outside of the mirror caps, it should work as anticipated. Any tips for helping with that adhesive removal though would be appreciated.
Bottom line? Expect this to be a big pain in the *** (unless youre really good at these things, which Im obviously not) and I guess we'll still see if I did it right. Ugh.

why didn't you just use double sided tape? Kamei gave me that adhesive stuff for my lower eyelids,
but there was no way I was going to put a glue on my car, so the tape worked fine.
