Default Coil pack Question for the 3.0 guys

I had a coilpack go on me the other day. I went and purchaced 6 new ones to install. the first one I changed out was the one right under the oil fill cap, and that fixed my problem.

So My question is, does this one fail more often than the other 5? And how often have y'all had to change your coilpacks?

Default 2 of mine went at same time, dealer replaced all of them under warranty

This was about a year ago, car had ~ 40k on it. Dealer said all new ones were a new revision, not sure exactly which revision though, never asked. The replaced packs on car were the originals from 2003, not sure of location of failed packs. You could just drive with 2 new ones and see how it goes.

Default When mine went, I just replaced all 6

I wanted the car to run on the new rev of the CPs and I wasn't going to deal with the inconvenience of getting stuck somewhere again. Peace of mind.

Default I was going to replace the other 5 this weekend

Just to be pro-active.
But still, I'm just curious as to the frequency of which coil packs fail more often.

Replace all 6 and be worry free for another 50K miles or so.
