Default Which engine do you have? 1.8T? 2.0? Different coils probably go in the different four-bangers...

The revision letter is part-specific. They are up to a much higher letter on the 1.8Ts, but not on the 3.0s, etc.

Default The 2.0 uses B, theyve used B since being made, the B's fail,

apparantly they have no modified versions for the 2.0.

apparantly at one stage 3.0 used B's and they have modified versions with higher letters so I really cant say, something weird happening with the 2.0's

so what is your suggestion, go to have a new set of B's to-morrow or ask them to get a newer version for me.BTW as far as you know, what is the newer version for my 2.0 right now?

Default The first time ours failed, they replaced all four with B revision coils

one of them failed a few months later and at that time, they only replaced the one coil with another B revision, according to the service guy the car came with B revision coils, so somethings off somewhere or Audi realkly hasnt come up with a revised coil for the 2.0 in which case one wonders what theyre installing in new engines as we speak.
Something seems very wrong but I dont see an alternative, Id rather have 4 new B's than 3 old B's and one new one, and I dont think they have a revised version so what is there to do?
Go for it but ask them if the B is revised, infact if you could get info out of them, we could see if what they say matches what the service advisor said!
