Hi Everyone,

I have a 2004 A4 Quattro Ultrasport 3.0 that I recently purchased and has its original suspension.
I'm new to Audi and was into autocrossing performance Italian cars before.
At this time the original Ultrasport shocks are disintegrating and I'm looking for a very high performance replacement since I will be keeping the car for the long haul and I love driving steep windy roads.

The car now has:
- all original ancient ultrasport suspension
- 19" AXIS wheels
- OEM brake hardware

Looking for:
- a new coilover setup to control the lowering (car is pretty low, would hate to get shocks that make my wheels hit the body).
- super stiff suspension (I don't care about road bumps whatsoever, I want performance)
- adjustable shocks

I am hoping to keep the cost under 3K for a setup but I'm flexible. I have used Koni before and they are excellent but being new to Audi I could use input on any others that are comparable or better. Looking for best to excellent performance. Thank you in advance!

personally, nothing beats H&R coilovers.

Thanks for the suggestion. Any input on how they compare to Konis? They were my go-to for suspension before but Audis are entirely different.
